Exploring the Future of Healthcare at Nationwide Children’s XR Symposium

Augment Therapy had the privilege of participating in the 2024 Nationwide Children's Hospital's XR Symposium, an inspiring event that brought together healthcare professionals, researchers, and innovators to explore the intersection of extended reality (XR) technology and patient care.

This year’s symposium featured a dynamic lineup of sessions, panel discussions, and hands-on demonstrations, showcasing the latest advancements in XR applications for healthcare. The energy and passion shared by participants underscored a collective drive to revolutionize patient care through immersive technology.

At our booth, we proudly showcased our ARWell PRO app, a cutting-edge augmented reality solution designed to transform therapeutic exercises into fun, gamified experiences. We demonstrated how ARWell PRO empowers healthcare providers to:

  • Motivate patients through engaging, interactive activities.

  • Monitor progress in real time with actionable data.

  • Prescribe personalized exercise programs that can be accessed in hospitals, clinics, or even at home.

Attendees had the chance to experience firsthand how our technology enhances patient engagement and makes rehabilitation not only effective but also enjoyable. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive, sparking meaningful conversations about the transformative potential of XR in healthcare.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Nationwide Children’s Hospital for hosting such a phenomenal event. Special gratitude to everyone who visited our booth and shared their insights—it’s these connections that fuel our commitment to redefining therapeutic care.

A special shout-out to our attendees, Lindsay Watson, PT, MPT, and Amy Pratt, PT, MPT, who represented Augment Therapy with passion and expertise. Together, we are excited to continue collaborating with the healthcare community to advance innovation and improve patient outcomes.
